<p><span>The role of the VIE Project Engineer will be to ensure the organization and operation of the equipment area and guarantee the reliability, availability, and optimization of the equipment fleet for the execution of the jobs.</span><span> </span></p> <p> </p> <h2><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Management of Asfalcura’s equipment fleet, including financial, administrative, and regulatory oversight.</li> <li>Supervises preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting by organizing and prioritizing interventions on sites and in workshops, ensuring intervention traceability, and proposing innovative technical solutions.</li> <li>Coordinates with operational teams and other centers by organizing interventions, supporting operations in equipment selection and use, and liaising with the Logistics Manager and site teams.</li> <li>Ensures regulatory compliance by overseeing mandatory inspections, monitoring corrective actions, and guaranteeing equipment conformity.</li> <li>Prepares and optimizes the investment budget (TUM) in collaboration with the Logistics Manager and Operational Unit Manager.</li> <li>Monitors maintenance budgets, ensures accurate cost allocation, tracks expenditures, and identifies cost optimization opportunities.</li> <li>Promotes compliance with QHSE standards by ensuring adherence to legislation, contributing to the One Safety program, and identifying and addressing risks in the field and workshop environments.</li> </ul> <p> </p><h2><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></h2>
<p> </p> <ul> <li><span>Spanish, written and spoken, is essential.</span></li> <li><span>Requires an engineering degree, preferably with at least 1 to 3 years of experience.</span> </li> <li><span>Mechanic with workshop experience.</span><span> </span></li> <li><span>Business Skills - Budget management, specific business softwares.</span><span> </span></li> <li><span>B</span><span>ehavioral Skills - Team management, planning and coordination and customer service.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p>
