Devops Engineer

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Support and adapt to organizational DevOps culture and best practices</li> <li>Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and integration activities</li> <li>Contribute to different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) when required</li> <li>Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health</li> <li>Support L1/L2 teams in technical incident management and issue resolution</li> <li>Perform troubleshooting, implement workarounds, and support bug fixing activities to ensure SLA compliance</li> <li>Participate in System Integration Testing and deployment activities</li> <li>Follow DevSecOps practices to ensure secure and reliable deployments</li> <li>Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve delivery efficiency</li> <li>Maintain technical documentation related to deployments, configurations, and operational procedures</li> </ul> <p><strong>Person Specifications</strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, IT, Systems/Networking, or related field</li> <li>2+ years of experience in DevOps, Networking, IT, or Telecommunications</li> <li>Good understanding of systems, networking, software fundamentals, and DevOps concepts</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, and SCM tools</li> <li>Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems</li> <li>Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform</li> <li>Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana</li> <li>Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage</li> <li>Basic understanding of DevSecOps, system security, and database management</li> <li>Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills</li> <li>Understanding of Agile and Scrum practices</li> </ul> <p>Vendor submissions - <strong>06 months</strong></p>
