A Human Resources Generalist helps managers make decisions relating to human resources, such as maintaining good relationships with employees and hiring new talent. The generalist will often help upper management determine strategies for hiring quality personnel. The generalist may also </span><span>administer general human resources duties, such as payroll, benefits, and training. Sometimes, it may be essential to look over company policies and practices and to suggest changes. We have been designated Great Place to Work for six consecutive years and many of our locations are awarded as Best and Brightest.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Compensation:</strong> </span></p> <p><span>$72,000 - $76,000/annually; direct experience highly considered.<br/><br/></span></p> <p><span><strong><span>Employment Type: </span></strong></span></p> <p><span>Full Time </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong><span>Work Location: </span></strong></span></p> <p><span>42-635 Melanie Place, Ste 103, Palm Desert, CA 92211<br/><br/><strong>Duties and Responsibilities: <br/></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Guide managers in recruiting and employee relations.</span></li> <li><span>Administer employee compensation, training and benefit programs. </span></li> <li><span>Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations. </span></li> <li><span>Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations. </span></li> <li><span><span>Other duties as assigned</span><br/></span></li> </ul> <strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong> <ul> <li><span>Bachelors Degree Preferred</span></li> <li><span>3 – 5 years of directly related or closely related experience </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level.</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of FMLA/leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, and employee relations. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of current governmental compliance regulations and laws. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge in multi-state laws, including state specific laws. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level. </span></li> <li><span>Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). </span></li> <li><span>Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. </span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level. </span></li> <li><span>Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities. </span></li> <li><span>Time management and time critical prioritization skills.</span></li> </ul>
