<p>Description</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Job Title: </strong>Product Manager </p><p><strong>FLSA Status:</strong> Exempt </p><p><strong>Department: </strong>Software Development</p><p><strong>Reports To:</strong> AVP, Product Management</p><p>Position Overview: </p><p>The Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product or product line. This role spans many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. A Product Manager provides cross-functional leadership and bridges organizational gaps between different functional groups, most often between engineering, marketing, sales, and support.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Work with users to collect feedback and study data to gather insights to drive improvements. </li><li>Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency. </li><li>Work with business and development teams to ensure they understand the vision for the product. </li><li>Develop detailed documentation and specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the business and development teams. </li><li>Own the discovery and delivery of new features and existing feature improvements. </li><li>Ability to break down Epics into features, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. </li></ul><p>Education and Work Experience:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree </li><li>Proven experience in product management </li><li>Experience in Property &amp; Casualty insurance industry is a plus </li></ul><p>Knowledge Skills &amp; Abilities:</p><ul><li>Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities with the ability to prioritize, track, and deliver results </li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills </li><li>Ability to work with cross-functional teams as a subject matter expert who influences company-wide decisions </li><li>Understands both the engineering and business side of the product release and is ultimately responsible for representing the end user’s needs </li><li>Knowledge of product management tools and methodologies </li><li>Experience in B2B product management </li><li>Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365</li></ul><p>Typical Physical Demands:</p><ul><li>Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting-up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.</li></ul><p><strong>Employee Signature: ­­­­___________________ Date: ___________________</strong></p><p><em>NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
