<strong>Summary:</strong><br/><br/><span><span>As the Marketing Manager, you will assist in defining and implementing strategies and tactics that support Fairmount Park Casino &amp; Racing marking and player development initiatives. </span></span><br/><br/><b>Essential Job Functions</b>:<br/> <ul><li><span>Establish, implement, and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, Company initiatives, and organizational goals</span></li><li><span>Perform high-level strategic planning functions and tactics for the casino’s Marketing program</span></li><li><span>Coordinates and implements day-to-day marketing initiatives, including promotions, events, rewards, entertainment, development of rules, and marketing collateral</span></li><li><span>Receives and reviews complimentary requests from customers and obtains appropriate approval</span></li><li><span>Administers and oversees activities of player development initiatives</span></li><li><span>Hires, trains &amp; manages Casino Host </span></li><li><span>Develop, coordinate, and implement player special events</span></li><li><span>Lead in developing and managing the departmental budget, including capital expenditures, and help guide department-level managers in budget process and management.</span></li><li><span>Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member and guest information</span></li><li><span>Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action</span></li><li><span>Provide ad hoc and reporting</span></li><li><span>Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program</span></li><li><span><span>Perform other duties as assigned</span></span></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:</strong><ul><li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board</li><li>Must have a high school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li><li>Minimum three years of prior experience in casino marketing or five years in casino operations required</li><li>Must have a minimum of three years of experience in player-tracking systems</li><li>High-level public relations and customer service skills are required</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required</li><li>Must have a working knowledge of slot machines</li><li>Must be able to work weekends, weeknights, and holidays</li></ul><strong>Benefits:</strong><ul><li>Comprehensive health coverage plan that includes medical, dental, and vision</li><li>401(K)/ Company Match</li><li>Bonus Eligible</li></ul><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment:</strong><ul><li>Regularly required to see, talk, hear, walk, and stand</li><li>Frequently required to use hands to handle, feel, and reach</li><li>Occasionally required to sit or stoop</li><li>Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds</li><li>The work environment is fast-paced and contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time<br/>Salary Range; $65,000 - $75,000 per year
