<p>Northline is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Continuous Improvement team, helping drive data-led decision making across the business.</p> <p>This is a key individual contributor role where you will partner with stakeholders across finance, operations, sales and IT to define business requirements, design analytical solutions, and ensure reporting is accurate, trusted and aligned to business objectives.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Engage stakeholders to understand business problems and define requirements and shape analytical and reporting solutions</li> <li>Translate business needs into clear analytical and reporting requirements</li> <li>Design and deliver practical, scalable reporting and analytics solutions that support decision-making</li> <li>Own and govern Northline’s enterprise reporting environment (Power BI, datasets, metrics)</li> <li>Manage and optimise the data warehouse and analytical platforms (Microsoft Fabric)</li> <li>Support major system initiatives including Finance and Transport Management System (TMS) migrations</li> <li>Ensure data integrity, reporting consistency and governance standards</li> <li>Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Tertiary qualifications in Analytics, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Business or a related discipline</li> <li>Proven Business Analyst experience across requirements, stakeholder engagement and solution design</li> <li>Strong SQL and data engineering capability</li> <li>Advanced Power BI experience; Microsoft Fabric highly regarded</li> <li>Experience with data warehouse design and reporting governance</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Northline</strong></p> <p>Northline is an experienced Australian‑based, global logistics business with an industry‑leading national network and an international reach into more than 100 countries.
