Maintenance Mechanic II (Experience Required)

<p><span>The Maintenance Technician position requires a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, troubleshoot and repair a variety of packaging equipment, conveyor systems, robotics, AVG’s (Automated Guided Vehicles), and minor facility items. An in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting and repairs is required. <span>Will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.</span></span></p> <p><strong><span>Responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Ensuring the compliance of all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and health administration rules (OSHA) while conducting work functions.</span></li> <li><span>Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production equipment throughout the facility.</span></li> <li><span>Detecting malfunctions and defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment.</span></li> <li><span>Maintaining a record of service cycles and other maintenance activities conducted.</span></li> <li><span>Efficiently managing time and completing all tasks assigned by the supervisory authority.</span></li> <li><span>Reporting damage, defects and other issues pertaining to electrical and mechanical units to the supervising manager.</span></li> <li><span>Documenting spare and replacement parts required and completing all necessary documentation for the same.</span></li> <li><span>Appropriately using and handling all electrical repair and testing tools and equipment.</span></li> <li><span>Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.</span></li> <li><span>Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.</span></li> <li><span>Other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span>Compensation &amp; Benefits</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Pay<strong>:</strong> $28–$35 per hour (based on experience)</span></li> <li><span>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance</span></li> <li><span>401(k) with company match</span></li> <li><span>Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (STD/LTD)</span></li> <li><span>Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</span></li> <li><span>Paid vacation and sick time</span></li> <li><span>Friendly, open-door work culture</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span>Schedule</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>2nd Shift </span></li> </ul> <p><span>#IND123</span></p> <strong><span>Qualifications</span></strong> <ul> <li><span>Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the following</span></li> <li><span>Must be skilled in the safe operation and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic diagnostics</span></li> <li><span>In depth electrical and mechanical experience.</span></li> <li><span>Proficient with working with and troubleshooting AC and DC voltages</span></li> <li><span>PLC’s, HMI’s, and AC/DC Drive knowledge</span></li> <li><span>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</span></li> <li><span>Ability to perform Preventative Maintenance tasks and services.</span></li> <li><span>Automation experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</span></li> <li><span>Strong written and verbal communication skills required, along with basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate digital systems</span></li> <li><span>Ability to operate a forklift.</span></li> <li><span>Be able to follow oral or written instructions</span></li> <li><span>Team mindset</span></li> <li><span>Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.</span></li> <li><span>High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education</span></li> <li><span>Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.</span></li> </ul>
