<h1>Business Analyst</h1> <h2>Position Overview</h2> <p>We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Business Analyst to support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights, financial analysis, and executive-level reporting. This role will partner cross-functionally across the organization to transform complex datasets into actionable business intelligence, helping leadership drive growth, operational efficiency, and strategic execution.</p> <p>The ideal candidate combines strong technical and financial acumen with a consulting-style mindset, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Design and build automated dashboards that translate complex datasets into intuitive, real-time visual narratives for executive stakeholders.</li> <li>Analyze dashboard outputs and business performance metrics to identify key insights, trends, and strategic implications — clearly articulating the “so-what” behind the numbers.</li> <li>Lead the development of comprehensive business plans and financial models to forecast growth, support annual budgeting, and evaluate new market opportunities.</li> <li>Act as the connective tissue between departments, identifying how operational or strategic shifts in one area of the business impact the broader organization.</li> <li>Produce rigorous, executive committee (ExCo)-level presentations and reporting materials with clear, concise, and data-driven storytelling.</li> <li>Prepare key reports in a timely manner for Finance, Compliance, and Management teams, including regulatory reporting requirements.</li> <li>Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy, operational visibility, and decision-making processes.</li> <li>Support strategic initiatives through ad hoc analysis, scenario planning, and performance evaluation.</li> </ul> <h2>Professional Experience &amp; Qualifications</h2> <h3>Education</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field required.</li> <li>MBA or advanced degree is a plus.</li> </ul> <h3>Experience</h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Corporate Finance, or related analytical roles.</li> <li>Experience in investment banking or management consulting is highly desirable.</li> <li>Proven track record of supporting executive-level decision-making through data analysis and strategic insights.</li> </ul> <h3>Technical Skills</h3> <ul> <li>Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets.</li> <li>Experience with BI and visualization tools, particularly Tableau.</li> <li>Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Excel and presentation development tools.</li> </ul> <h3>Additional Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Strong communication and executive presentation skills.</li> <li>Ability to synthesize complex information into clear business recommendations.</li> <li>Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Ability to provide examples of executive-level presentations or strategic business cases authored.</li> </ul>
