The target company focuses on high-value specialty ingredients for the Food Manufacturers segment. Their product range includes sweet particulates, chocolate confections, baked inclusions, variegates, and fruit purées. This deal, successfully completed in March of 2023, is a transformative move for IRCA, establishing them as a global leader in the semi-finished ingredients industry.</span> <span> </span> <span>With this acquisition, IRCA has a combined revenue of €1 billion in 2023 and a presence in 22 manufacturing facilities across Europe, the US, and Vietnam. This expanded manufacturing footprint and diversified product portfolio positions IRCA as a key player in the market, serving a wide range of customers in the bakery, pastry, and gelato sectors, as well as food manufacturers.</span> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <li><span>Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.</span></li> <li><span>Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.</span></li> <li><span>Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.</span></li> <li><span>Has electrical competency for troubleshooting purposes and is familiar with electrical principles and components</span></li> <li><span>Can use an electrical meter for testing purposes</span></li> <li><span>Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.</span></li> <li><span>Knowledgeable in piping systems, pipe fittings, pumps and motors, valves etc.</span></li> <li><span>Comprehension of gearboxes, motors, bearings, sprockets, chains, bushings, belts, and pulleys.</span></li> <li><span>Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed.</span></li> <li><span>Can operate sit-down forklift and/or articulating boom lift.</span></li> <li><span>Operating a variety of hand and power tools.</span></li> <li><span>Experience with Mill, Lathe, Band Saw, welding or a willingness to learn.</span></li> <li><span>Maintaining a clean and organized work area.</span></li> <li><span>Complying with health and safety regulations.</span></li> <li><span>Performing general maintenance work on buildings assigned.</span></li> <li><span>Has strong computer skills. Send and receive emails, operate CMMS programs.</span></li> <li><span>Maintains a strong working relationship with all plant departments.</span></li> <li>Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.</li> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li> Industrial maintenance experience.</li> <li> 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role.  Preferred work experience in a food manufacturing environment. Welding and/or fabrication experience preferred. </li> <li>HS diploma or GED.</li> <li>Demonstrate knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools.</li> <li>Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability.</li> <li>Demonstrate Strong computer skills.</li> <li>Able to perform physical task and demonstrate physical dexterity.</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot to identify and recommend solutions.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.</li> <li>Knowledge of health and safety regulations.</li> <li>Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. and /or push, pull or move heavy machinery and/or drums.</li> <li>Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift</li> </ul>
