<p><strong><span>Automatic Door Technician &amp; Glazier</span></strong> </p> <p>Flynn Group of Companies </p> <p><strong><span>Summary: </span></strong></p> <p>Install, service, and repair automatic doors, glass systems, and related hardware in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. Provide reliable customer service while ensuring safe, high-quality work.</p> <p><strong><span>Responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic sliding, swinging, revolving, and specialty door systems</li> <li>Perform glazing work including storefronts, curtain walls, insulated units, tempered glass, and door lite replacements</li> <li>Respond to 24<span>‑</span>hour emergency service calls on a rotating schedule, providing safe and efficient on<span>‑</span>site solutions</li> <li>Conduct preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and system upgrades</li> <li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hardware issues with accuracy</li> <li>Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications</li> <li>Maintain detailed service reports, documentation, and customer communication</li> <li>Uphold company standards for professionalism, safety, and workmanship</li> </ul> <p><strong><span> Requirements:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in construction, glazing, or door systems (preferred)</li> <li>Knowledge of automatic doors and low-voltage systems is an asset</li> <li>Ability to read basic drawings/blueprints</li> <li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li> <li>Valid driver’s license</li> <li>Comfortable with physical work, heights, and outdoor conditions</li> </ul>
