<p><span><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></span></p> <p><span>We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to strengthen our platform delivery and ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of LEXSO across government and commercial environments. In this role, you will have the ability to: </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Work at the intersection of security, AI, and mission-critical infrastructure.</span></li> <li><span>Be part of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team delivering real-world impact.</span></li> <li><span>Opportunities for growth in cloud, cybersecurity, and sensor integration.</span></li> <li><span>Contribute to protecting US government and commercial assets with cutting-edge technology.</span></li> </ul> <h2><span>Key Responsibilities</span></h2> <ul> <li><span>Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across staging, test, and production environments.</span></li> <li><span>Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for LEXSO’s real-time, sensor-driven workloads.</span></li> <li><span>Containerize services using Docker (or Podman) and manage registries.</span></li> <li><span>Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent) for repeatable, scalable deployments.</span></li> <li><span>Maintain secure version control practices (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent).</span></li> <li><span>Configure, maintain, and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems.</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, and sensor integration teams to accelerate feature delivery and ensure resilience in operational deployments.</span></li> <li><span>Support compliance with DoD cybersecurity and cloud security standards where applicable.</span></li> <li><span>Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. </span></li> </ul> <h2><span>Required Qualifications</span></h2> <ul> <li><span>2–5 years experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or cloud engineering.</span></li> <li><span>Scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.</span></li> <li><span>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.</span></li> <li><span>Kubernetes experience (explicit, production-level).</span></li> <li><span>Containerization experience with Docker or Podman (explicit, production-level).</span></li> <li><span>Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).</span></li> <li><span>Experience using Git or equivalent version control systems.</span></li> <li><span>Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident response workflows.</span></li> <li><span>Strong collaboration skills with software developers.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to attain a Secret Clearance</span></li> <li><span>May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.
