Human Resources - Human Resources Generalist<br/>Basic Purpose of the Job<br/>Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager and/or the Senior Vice-President of HR, supports and develops relationships with specified business units of the hospital. Provides general support with focus on employee relations/conflict resolution, recruitment strategy, process/technological improvement, training and development, and process improvement.<br/>Minimum Education<br/>BA/BS in human resources management, related field, or equivalent education/experience preferred.<br/>Minimum Work Experience<br/>Three (3) years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist<br/>Required Licenses / Certifications<br/>PHR Certification or SHRM-CP preferred<br/>Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities<br/> ▪ Thorough knowledge of current employment/labor law, benefits related law, pension/ERISA regulations, wage and hour laws, fair labor standard act, worker's compensation laws, OSHA regulations, and other human resources-related legislation is desired.<br/> ▪ Excellent verbal, written, and presentation and negotiation skills.<br/> ▪ Demonstrated leadership skills.
