Metro Area. Our scholars graduate from college at <strong>three times the national average</strong> for first-generation students. By age 30, our alumni earn an average of $89,823—outpacing the national median and proving the long-term economic mobility a degree unlocks.</p> <h3>The Opportunity</h3> <p>Are you a strategic storyteller and a relationship builder? As the <strong>Manager of Institutional Philanthropy</strong>, you will play an essential role in growing College Track’s institutional funding base. Managing a portfolio of 40–60 foundation and corporate partners across multiple markets, you will have the unique opportunity to develop deep expertise across two distinct and complementary fundraising functions.</p> <p>Reporting directly to the Vice President of Institutional Philanthropy, you will work closely with the Directors of Foundation and Corporate Partnerships to craft compelling narratives, manage a high-impact pipeline, and secure gifts ranging from $25,000 to $250,000+.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Relationship Management & Cultivation:</strong> Manage and steward a diverse portfolio of 40–60 corporate and foundation partners, maintaining active communication pipelines with care and consistency.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Proposal Development & Grant Writing:</strong> In collaboration with the Grants Manager and Finance team, lead the writing, editing, and submission of high-quality proposals, concept papers, budgets, and impact reports.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Partner with program staff and Executive Site Directors to coordinate funder site visits. Translate impact data and scholar success stories into powerful donor communications.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Operations & CRM Management:</strong> Track all fundraising activity, pipeline health, and institutional knowledge seamlessly within Salesforce to ensure strict grant compliance.</p> </li> </ul>
<h3>What You Bring</h3> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> 3–5 years of nonprofit development experience, with a proven track record of managing an institutional fundraising portfolio.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Exceptional Communication:</strong> Stellar writing and editing skills, with the ability to connect a program's ground-level impact to a funder’s philanthropic priorities.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Versatility:</strong> Comfort navigating both corporate and foundation fundraising spaces while managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Technical Savvy:</strong> Proficiency with Salesforce (or a comparable CRM) to leverage data for pipeline management.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Mission Alignment:</strong> A fierce advocacy for educational equity and a deep connection to College Track’s core values: <em>Commitment, Passion, Joy, Authenticity, and Excellence</em>.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Education & Travel:</strong> Bachelor’s degree required.
