Diversey is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Building Service Contractors (BSC) sector across Australia.</i></b></p><p></p><p><b><i>In this high-impact role, you’ll lead strategic growth initiatives, manage key relationships, and drive profitable expansion across the BSC segment.</i></b></p><p></p><p><b>About the role:</b></p><p>The Business Development Manager will lead the BSC sector strategy across Australia with full accountability for delivering sustainable and profitable growth. You will play a pivotal role in driving business performance, strengthening distributor partnerships, and aligning with broader commercial objectives.</p><p></p><p><b>You will be responsible for:</b></p><p><b>Growth &amp; Profitability</b></p><ul><li>Drive top- and bottom-line growth across the BSC sector</li><li>Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and margin targets</li><li>Develop and execute sector strategies to increase market share across all product lines, including TASKI</li><li>Identify and implement initiatives to improve short- and long-term performance</li><li>Optimize pricing and margin management within approved guidelines</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Customer &amp; Market Leadership</b></p><ul><li>Build strong relationships with key BSC customers, distributors, and decision-makers</li><li>Identify emerging customer needs and translate them into growth opportunities</li><li>Lead engagement with major accounts, including reviews and strategic planning sessions</li><li>Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships</li><li>Strengthen presence and influence within the BSC industry network</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Sales Execution &amp; New Business</b></p><ul><li>Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities across distributor partners and end users</li><li>Lead major deal negotiations and support high-value account acquisition</li><li>Expand business through multi-product selling and solution-based approaches</li><li>Support sales teams in winning and growing key accounts</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Sales Leadership &amp; Capability Building</b></p><ul><li>Guide and support distributor sales teams through coaching and in-field engagement</li><li>Deliver training programs on new business development, product offerings, and competitive positioning</li><li>Build strong collaboration between internal teams and external partners</li><li>Foster a high-performance, growth-focused sales culture</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Sales Planning &amp; Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Accurately forecast sales and revenue across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles</li><li>Track performance against KPIs including revenue, margin, and market share</li><li>Ensure CRM systems and reporting tools are consistently updated</li><li>Provide timely and accurate reporting to leadership</li><li>Participate in regular business reviews and planning cycles</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you need to be successful </b></p><ul><li>5–10 years of experience in business development or sales within a B2B environment</li><li>Strong experience or network within the BSC industry (highly preferred)</li><li>Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing key accounts</li><li>Strong commercial acumen, including pricing and P&amp;L understanding</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and <span>relationship-building</span> skills</li><li>Experience working with distributor networks and channel partners</li><li>Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)</li><li>Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively</li><li>Willingness to travel across regions</li></ul><p></p><p>If you’re passionate about customer success, technical solutions, and growing meaningful relationships, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p><b>Apply now and be the force behind our next big win.</b></p>
