Working directly with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager owns campaign execution, vendor relationships, performance reporting, and the development of marketing specialists across all 14 Bud Clary store locations.</p> <p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus an employee assistance program.</li> <li>Retirement Plans: 401(k).</li> <li>PTO &amp; Paid Holidays - PTO accrual starting from day one of employment - 1 hour of PTO for every 40 hours worked for the first year, 1.63 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked for years 2-9, and 2.39 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked for 10 or more years of service.</li> <li>Employee discounts</li> <li>Referral bonus program</li> </ul> <p><strong>PAY</strong></p> <ul> <li>$36 - $40 per hour ($75,000 - $83,000 annually), depending on qualifications and experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages the day-to-day operations of the marketing department across all 14 Bud Clary store locations.</li> <li>Directly supervises the Content &amp; Creative Specialist and Marketing Coordinator, with additional reports added as the department grows.</li> <li>Owns vendor relationships and quarterly business reviews with third-party platforms including CarGurus, Cars.com, AutoTrader, and our digital media agencies.</li> <li>Coordinates dealer-level marketing programs across all OEM brand partners.</li> <li>Plans, schedules, and supervises execution of all monthly marketing campaigns across paid digital, organic social, email, and traditional channels.</li> <li>Reviews creative output and brand consistency across all 14 store websites, social profiles, and Google Business Profiles.</li> <li>Manages the marketing department's intake system (marketing@budclary.com ticketing) and ensures all internal requests from stores are triaged, assigned, and completed within service-level expectations.</li> <li>Compiles weekly and monthly performance dashboards using Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and vendor-provided reporting tools.</li> <li>Coordinates with Sales Managers, BDC leadership, and store General Managers to align marketing activity with sales objectives.</li> <li>Owns marketing-side integration of any newly acquired dealerships, including website migrations, vendor consolidation, branding, and OEM compliance.</li> <li>Participates in EOS Level 10 meetings and contributes to quarterly Rocks and annual planning sessions using ninety.io.</li> <li>Provides hiring input, performance reviews, and career development conversations for direct reports.</li> <li>Manages the marketing department budget under direction of the Director, including co-op program reconciliation and vendor billing oversight.</li> <li>Reports to the Marketing Director on team output, campaign performance, and operational improvements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.</li> <li>Three (3) or more years of progressive marketing experience; five (5) or more years preferred, including at least two (2) years managing direct reports.</li> <li>Multi-location B2C marketing experience strongly preferred — particularly in high-velocity, lead-driven categories such as automotive retail, powersports, RV/marine, restaurant/QSR, hospitality, or home services.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br/> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience managing a team of marketing professionals.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO, paid search, paid social, email marketing, and reputation management.</li> <li>Proficient with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).</li> <li>Working knowledge of dealer website platforms such as Dealer.com, Dealer Inspire, or DealerOn.</li> <li>Familiarity with CRM and CDP platforms.</li> <li>Experience managing OEM co-op programs and vendor relationships.</li> <li>Strong project management instincts; comfortable with ticketing and project management tools (Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Front, HelpScout, or similar).</li> <li>Clear and concise written and verbal communication.</li> <li>Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.</li> <li>Ability to work legally in the United States.</li> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong><br/> The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.</p> <ul> <li>This role is based in-office at our Kelso, WA Corporate Office.</li> <li>Office areas are heated and air conditioned.</li> <li>The work environment is primarily indoors.</li> <li>Occasional travel to Bud Clary store locations across Washington State is required.</li> </ul> <p>Bud Clary Auto Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
